Should I brew beer to save money?

Question for you my anon friends.
Recently realized that I spend too much money on beer. Starting to wonder if I should brew my own beer at a fraction of the price.
Any one have any experience with brewing their own beer? Tips?

I would do this to save money but I am to lazy

I considered doing this but I can't be bothered setting it up.

are you the guy who just saved 520$ per year on beeR?

If you've never made beer before, your first batch will likely be undrinkable and you'll have to toss it out.
tl;dr you won't save money

Unfortunately that was me, bro.

Jesus...I always forget that I am not the only one who compulsively browses reddit and anonymous...
So many dupe stories/quotes/comments.

LIES.
Me and my friend accidentally put four times the amount of sugar in, and all that happened was it came out FOUR TIMES AS POWERFUL.
also it tasted like sh*t but was still drinkable.

There's an in with the cashier. Tell her that you'll be brewing your own from now on, and that you'll miss her if you don't see her again.
That angle works so well, dude. I gotta tellya.

Don't you think she would consider me a cheap a**hole for brewing my own beer?
Also wouldn't it seem a bit obsessive?

>sh*t is drinkable
Whatever makes you happy, buddy. Just stay away from mine. I flush it to keep it away from people like you.

are you saying vodka doesn't taste like sh*t?

Women love guys who have hobbies that don't involve leveling up.

Obsessed with beer, or obsessed with the cashier?

It doesn't. Vodka hardly has any flavor at all.
That's why it's the ultimate c**ktail liquor.

Ni**er you trollin'? Vodka is f**king DISGUSTING. But when I drink it I get absolutely f**ked, I become a completely different person.

Obsessed with beer, I'd say over the course of the last year I've bought 2,000 cans of beer at least. So maybe I should consider home brewing, it would probably save me lots.

I've got bad news for you: you're a pu**y.

Hard liquor is OK in mixed drinks but I hate drinking it straight after a while.
I wonder if I could brew beer in my dorm room.

I can drink it mixed with orange juice, but vodka on it's own makes me feel sick unless it's in shots. But I'm talking huge quantities of 40% vodka here, like 700ml.

I knew a guy who did that. He didn't know what he was doing, so he bottled it before he stopped the fermentation. He ended up with a sea of beer and broken glass under his bed.

Why would you drink a whole 750 of vodka? Unless your a seasoned alkie, that can kill you!

Obviously you haven't seen me post before.

The nice thing about brewing your own beer is that you can f**kup and people will still drink it.
After my first batch i was sitting around in kitchen with a dozen or so people drinking it and I got asked what it was called and I decided to call it "cats paw pilsner" because my cat (really did) fall into it.
People like the name, and kept drinking.

speaking of dieing of alcohol poisoning, how do people die from drinking too much alcohol in one sitting? i have drank sh*t tons before (chugging straight vodka) and eventually you just start throwing it up everywhere. It seems like you start to throw it up long before you die.

Foregt beer, brew barley wine instead, outstanding stuff and easy to home brew

I don't even know, the most I've ever drunk is about 1.5 litres of 40% vodka and several beers. I was drunk for like two days straight.
I slipped into an alcohol coma and woke up in hospital. After that I was fine. No liver damage as of yet.

>pass out on your back from drinking too much
>throw up
>airway is blocked and you are dead

Subliminal sex.
"Cat's Paw" is a pron magazine from the Fallout universe.

I heard of a kid that passed out completely, but his friends forced him awake and gave him more vodka. He didn't wake up after that.

>spending too much on beer
LOL thts imposable XD

right i get that, and there a ton of ways to die because you did something stupid while drunk. but i am talking about just dieing because the alcohol levels in your bloodstream go too high, in my experiences it seems like before your body can absorb that much you just start throwing it all up.

holly molly! I never thought anyone else was interested! been brewing beer for a year now, I have brewed: IPA, Steam beer, a cider which is currently in primary and a dark cider/beer in secondary, when you going to start? it is well worth it and its a load of fun.

Cool!! Plan on starting soon hopefully. How long does it take to make your own cider? I heard you need to use an apple press for the best results.

Well got to head out ill check thread later.
